Pool Queue supports Open Graph metadata on all public-facing pages, allowing your content to display rich previews when shared on platforms like Facebook, iMessage, LinkedIn, and others.
✅ What Is Open Graph?
The Open Graph Protocol is a standard used by social platforms to show rich previews of links, including:
-
A title
-
A description
-
A thumbnail image
-
A destination link
These previews help make your shared links more eye-catching and informative.
🎯 Where Open Graph Is Supported
Open Graph metadata is automatically included on the following page types:
| Page Type | What is used for previews |
|---|---|
| Site Pages | Title, description, image (configured in the page parameters) |
| Events | Event name and image |
| Blog Posts | Blog title, summary/description, and featured image |
| Pro Shop Items | Product name and product image |
| Program Information Pages (Roster Groups) | Group name and group image |
If a page doesn’t have a custom image defined, the system will automatically fall back to the image you’ve set under Setup / Mail as the email logo.
🖼️ Tips for Great Link Previews
-
Use landscape images (e.g., 1200×630 pixels) for best results on Facebook and LinkedIn.
-
Keep text titles short and clear.
-
Avoid placing text inside your image — some platforms crop images automatically.
