Enabling Notifications for Your Organization

Notifications are optional for each club. Administrators can enable them so account holders and members can use the Notification Center to subscribe their devices.

Where to enable

• Go to Setup → Site.

• Locate the Progressive Web App settings.

• Turn on Enable PWA.

Customizable options

When notifications are enabled, you can also configure:

• App name and short name – how your club’s app appears when installed on a device.

• Prompt users to install the app when browsing your site.

• Theme and background colors – colors used for the app tile and splash screen.

• Icons – upload both a 192×192 icon and a 512×512 icon.

• Bottom navigation bar (optional) – add up to five quick links for account holders when the app is installed.

What enabling means for account holders

• Your site becomes installable on iOS and Android.

• Account holders can go to My Account → Notification Center to subscribe their devices.

• Once subscribed, they will receive notifications based on their preferences.

Bottom Navigation Bar (optional)

What it does

Shows a 5-slot quick-access bar when the app is installed (“Add to Home Screen”) and opened as an app (standalone). Great for the most-used destinations for account holders.

How to enable

1. In PWA settings, switch Bottom Navigation Bar to On.

2. You’ll see up to five slots (Item 1–5). You can leave unused slots blank.

For each item (up to 5)

• Icon – Enter a Font Awesome v6 pro icon (e.g., fad fa-house, fad fa-calendar-days, fad fa-credit-card, fad fa-bullhorn, fad fa-user-group).

• Label – Short text shown under the icon (e.g., “Home”, “Billing”).

• URL – Choose from the dropdown (system pages + your site pages).

Ordering & limits

• Items appear left to right in the order configured (Item 1 → Item 5).

• Maximum 5 items. Leave any unused item blank (it won’t render).

• Use concise labels (ideally 10–12 characters or less).

When it shows (and when it doesn’t)

• Shows in the installed app (standalone mode) on iOS/Android and supported desktop browsers.

• Does not show when browsing in a normal tab (non-standalone).
