Each device that an account holder subscribes in the Notification Center has its own notification preferences. This allows account holders to control what types of alerts they receive on each phone, tablet, or computer.
Categories available
Account holders can choose from the following categories:
General Announcements – Club-wide news and updates.
Event Alerts – Reminders and updates for event signups, volunteer jobs, and deadlines.
Billing – New invoices, dues posted, and payment alerts.
Roster Messaging – Messages sent to rosters the member is assigned to.
Rankings – Meet results, record breakers, and new best times.
Direct Messaging – Messages sent by staff or coaches directly to an account holder or to a specific member.
Default settings
When a device is first subscribed, all categories are enabled by default.
Account holders may adjust preferences for each subscribed device at any time.
Per-device flexibility
Preferences are tied to the specific device.
Example: An account holder may want Billing notifications on their desktop but Event Alerts on their phone.
This flexibility ensures that account holders and members only get the notifications that matter most, where they want them.
