Upcoming Birthdays Notifications for Members

Overview

The Member's Upcoming Birthdays Notification feature provides an automated way for Registrars to receive notifications about members whose birthdays are approaching. This feature helps in keeping track of important dates and allows for timely recognition.

Configuration

Access

Only System Administrators or Registrars can configure the Member's Upcoming Birthdays Notification setting. This configuration is accessible through the Administration Interface under the "Setup" menu and specifically within the "Members" section.

Enabling/Disabling

To enable the feature, select the preferred day of the week for notifications from the available options. 

To disable the feature, set the day of the week selection to be blank. This ensures that no notifications will be sent.

Notification Process

Registrars will be informed at midnight on the selected day of the week. The notification includes information about members whose birthdays fall within the next 8 days.

How to Configure

1. From the Administration Interface:

   • Log in with the appropriate administrative credentials.
   • Navigate to the "Setup" menu.
   • Select the "Members" section.

2. Configure the Member's Upcoming Birthdays Notification:

   • Choose the desired day of the week for notifications.

3. Save Changes:

   • After selecting the day of the week, save the changes to enable the feature.

4. Disable the Feature (Optional):

   • To disable the feature, set the day of the week selection to be blank.
   • Save the changes to apply the update.
