The Current Member Discount allows you to automatically offer a reduced registration fee to members who are already part of your organization, or who were recently registered.
This is commonly used to:
reward returning members
offer loyalty pricing
encourage re-registration between sessions
How it works
When a member registers, Pool Queue checks whether they qualify as a current member based on your settings.
If they qualify, a discount is automatically applied to their registration.
Setting up a Current Member Discount
Go to Setup > Registration
Create a new Fee
Select one of the following types:
Current member discount amount (e.g. $20 off)
Current member discount percent (e.g. 10% off)
Enter the discount value
(Optional) Set the Recent registration window (months)
Assign the fee to one or more rosters
Defining a “Current Member”
You can control who qualifies using the Recent registration window (months) setting:
Leave blank
Only members who are currently registered in an active session will qualify
Enter a number (e.g. 3)
Members who were registered in a session that ended within the last X months will also qualify
This allows you to include recently finished sessions when offering discounts.
How the discount is applied
Only one current member discount will ever be applied to a registration.
If multiple discounts are assigned:
Pool Queue will automatically apply the best available discount
One-time billing (session fee)
The discount is applied once to the total registration fee
Monthly or scheduled billing
Percentage discount
The discount is applied to each scheduled payment
Each installment is reduced by the selected percentage
Fixed amount discount
The discount is applied once at registration
It is not spread across monthly payments
Important notes
Discounts are applied per member, not per account
Only members who meet the eligibility rules will receive the discount
If no qualifying prior registration is found, the discount will not be applied
Discounts cannot be combined - only the most beneficial one is used
