Locking a Season in Your Scheduling System

When a season is locked in your scheduling system, it prevents any further changes from being made to the schedule. This feature acts as a failsafe to avoid accidental modifications to a season's schedule.

Why Lock a Season?

There are several reasons why you might want to lock a season:

Transitioning to the Next Season: If you're approaching the end of the current season and starting to plan for the next year, you may need to switch between the current and upcoming seasons to review and verify content. By locking the current season, you can ensure that no unintended changes are made to its schedule while you work on the next season.
Finalizing Fee Schedules: Once you have finalized the fee schedules in all rosters for a season and opened registration, it's important to prevent accidental changes to prices. Locking the season helps safeguard against any unwanted modifications that could impact the fees associated with registrations.

How to Lock a Season:

To lock a season in your system, follow these steps:

Log in to the administration interface.
Navigate to the Schedule section.
Select the appropriate season from the available list.
Click on the "Edit Season" command.
Look for the "Lock Season" option and click on it.
Confirm the action by clicking on [Apply].

By following these steps, you can easily lock a season and ensure that its schedule remains unchanged, providing peace of mind and preventing inadvertent alterations.
