We recommend the following steps after importing accounts and members.
Send a mail message to the unverified accounts informing them to reset their password
- From the Administration Interface, navigate to Accounts & Billing / Accounts
- Remove all filters by selecting the [Reset filter] command
- Under the Status filter, select "Email not verified"
- Select the [Apply filter] command
- Once the Accounts have been retrieved, select all appropriate account holders, or select them all by choosing the selector in the top-left hand corner of the list.
- Select the [Mail selected] command
- Compose the message by entering a Subject and a Message. In the message you compose, inform the recipients to reset their password. To reset their password, they will navigate to your site, choose the Sign In command, and then the Forgot Password command.
- Send the message by pressing the [Send] command at the top of the mail dialog. Within approximately 3 minutes, the mail message will be sent.
Review the results of the mail message
It's possible that some of the recipients of the mail message have incorrect email addresses. You will review the status of the sent message and then correct any invalid account email addresses.
- From the Administration Interface, navigate to Mail
- Locate the mail message that was just sent, and select the [Open] command
- A list of recipients will be presented on the right hand side of the message.
- Record any of the email addresses that are marked as "Bounced".
- Locate each of these accounts, and correcting their email address as appropriate.
- Repeat the above process for the corrected account holders.
